Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
-
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
-
1/2 tsp. Ginger
-
1/2 tsp. allspice
-
1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 cup Nuts ’N More Apple Crisp High Protein Peanut Spread

3 tbsp. canola oil
-
3/4 cup apple cider
-
1/4 cup maple syrup
-
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
-
1 egg
-
1 tsp Vanilla
Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

¼ cup granulated sugar + 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F and prepare a donut pan with cooking spray, set aside.

In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt, stirring to combine.

In another large bowl, combine nuts’n more Apple Crisp Spread, oil, apple cider, syrup, apple cider vinegar, egg and vanilla.

Whisk until smooth, then pour the wet mixture into the dry and fold the batter until evenly incorporated.

Divide the batter among the cavities of the donut pan – each should be filled to the top but not overflowing.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the donuts to cool slightly, then coat each in a thin layer of melted butter before dipping into cinnamon sugar mixture. Set aside to cool completely.
