Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookie Butter Cookies

Take yourself back in time with a nuts ‘n more cookie butter twist on the traditional chocolate chip cookie with this recipe from our friends at 5280meat!

Ingredients

¼ c. cookie butter peanut butter

1c. butter or ghee

½ c. brown sugar

1 c. white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 ½ c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

1 package of chocolate chips (10-12 oz.)

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter/ghee, cookie butter peanut butter & sugars.

2. Blend on low-medium speed until creamy.

3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix again.

4. Cover mixing bowl and chill cookie dough in refrigerator for 1 hour.

5. When ready to bake, grease a cookie sheet and form cookies (1 ½” to 2” diameter).

6. Next, in a 350 degree F oven, bake cookies for approximately 8-10 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown color.

Remove cookie sheet from oven and let cookies cool before serving.
